the many specialized areas of accounting and finance, our School
is able to offer consultancy services to industry and commerce in
a number of specialised areas. Apart from carrying out consultancy
projects, our School has also been active in providing professional

Ernst
& Young (E&Y) Accountancy Conversion Programme
Since 2001, we have joined forces with one of the Big Four firms,
E&Y, to offer accountancy training to the firm's non-accountancy
degree holders. Our School is responsible for the design, organization,
and teaching of this postgraduate level intensive training programme
which is conducted on our university campus. Participants who successfully
complete the programme are qualified for enrolment in the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Qualification Programme as well as
other professional accountancy examinations.
Training
Workshop on PRC for Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants
In the aftermath of China's accession to the WTO, more and more
Hong Kong accounting professionals are seeking service opportunities
in the Chinese mainland. In 2002, our School has been commissioned
by the HKICPA a two-year contract to organize professional continuing
training programme for its members so as to keep them abreast of
the latest developments in accounting, tax, auditing, and corporate
governance in China. Conducted in the form of workshops, the programme
has attracted more than 400 HKICPA members.
Teacher

up their knowledge and skills in Costing, Budgeting and Investment
