Emphasis on Quality Teaching and Learning

The School regards the provision of teaching and learning opportunities as its primary mission. To imbue the staff of the School with the notion of quality performance, we have established two prerequisites: academic excellence and professional relevance.

In striving to accomplish our mission, we take the view that quality does not just happen. It requires leadership, well-designed processes, diligent monitoring, and continuous improvements. These elements have been secured by incorporating quality teaching and learning into our School strategic plan, in which three of our goals are:

To educate students with technical skills, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and ethical values that will enhance their opportunities for success in their future careers.

To promote staff's excellence in teaching and to foster among them a positive attitude toward professional relevance and academic rigour.

 
3. To facilitate continuous innovation and improvement in pedagogy, curriculum, instructional materials, and technology.
