Steeped in a long and proven tradition of providing a quality accounting education in Hong Kong, our School is unique in a number of aspects. With a history dating back to 1972, we were the first one to provide a post-secondary accounting education for students in Hong Kong. Then in 1989, we became the first to offer a degree programme in accounting in Hong Kong.

Students are given a variety of opportunities to participate in internship programmes, professional mentoring schemes and international exchange programmes, in the Chinese Mainland and overseas. As a result, students are equipped to embark on a professional career upon graduation.

The programmes are well recognized through accreditation by numerous local and overseas professional institutions. The School offers a number of unique postgraduate programmes through the Graduate School of Business, and was the first in Hong Kong to meet the growing demands for life-long education in accounting and finance. It was also one of the first to offer a postgraduate programme in the CyberU mode. A number of China postgraduate programmes will be launched starting from September 2003.
