Dr. Huang earned a PhD in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in Economics from Peking University. Prior to joining Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Huang worked at Boston University, where she taught the core financial and managerial accounting courses in both undergraduate and MBA programs. Dr. Huang’s research focuses on corporate disclosure, regulation, institutional trading, and incentive compensation. Dr. Huang won a Best Paper Award at the European Accounting Association Annual Congress. Since joining Hong Kong Polytechnic University, she has published her work at the Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, and China Accounting and Finance Research. She has been awarded the General Research Funds (GRF) by Hong Kong Research Grant Council. Her research has been featured at Columbia Law School's Blue Sky Blog on Corporations and the Capital Markets.
