PhD Programme

The PhD programme at the School for Accounting and Finance at PolyU is a rigorous and structured doctoral programme that trains students to make significant contributions on topics related to accounting and finance. The duration of this programme is typically between 4 to 5 years. A unique feature of our programme is that our students have the flexibility to engage in research in accounting, finance, or both. Our faculty works closely with the students to guide them in publishing in top academic journals. For example, our faculty collaborates actively with students on research projects. Overall, our programme aims to prepare PhD students for a career in academic research and teaching.
