Research Programmes

The School of Accounting and Finance at PolyU offers post graduate research program in the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).  The mission of this program is to educate high quality PhD / MPhil students in accounting and finance using an interdisciplinary approach and  prepare PhD students for a career in academic research and teaching in a research oriented university.

We focus on economic analyses in areas of Accounting, Finance, Economics and Law.  We welcome candidates to apply for the research degrees of PhD / MPhil in the following areas:

Each applicant is allowed to make one initial application to the Research Grants Council (RGC) through the HKPFS Electronic System to obtain a HKPFS reference number, and then submit a full application to PolyU via Web Application System.
